The history of Mud Bulls and Music
In times past, country people gathered together to compete and demonstrate their skills at work. Hence, we have camp drafts, rodeos, picnic races, etc. Today's mechanization of primary production has led to a decline in amateur rural competition, but it has given rise to a new rural workhorse – the 4x4 Ute.
Mud Bulls & Music is a unique 4-day event blending traditional and contemporary competition, the Bull Ride and the 4x4 action events, with music.
Add the Ute Show and the camping experience in a beautiful isolated area, and the stage is set for 4 days of intense action, excitement and entertainment, summed up quite ably by Redback in his poem penned post MBM '01.
